Sometimes, something interesting pops up in my email, and this foul mouthed 10 second ad had me cracking up. My aiming impaired butt won’t mind giving this a go.
This will be available on PC & PS4 later this year. According to its FIA page, it will also be available on Mac & Linux. This is a spin-off of kickstarter funded The Red Solstice. You can register for the closed Alpha on their site.
Okay, this dude’s commentary didn’t really liven things up, ironically, he’s an aspiring voice actor.
Granted, I don’t play rogue-like games, I’m really intrigued by this one. I was hooked once I realised it was a space shooter.
Now, I’m sure you’re wondering why am I still writing about this, when it looks like it will not be getting a PS4 release? I did ask Evolve, who handle the title’s PR and I was told that the PS4 version is planned for release later this year.
Everspace was released on Steam’s early access last year, hence why there are older reviews & Let’s Plays on YouTube.
I was considering making a The Hype article on it, since it is appears to be receiving really high reviews on both PC & Xbox One, but I’ll wait and make one on The Surge instead.
It’s always nice to see a successful Kickstarter game.
Yup, that card game that consumed your life during your Witcher 3 gameplay, is going to be released as an actual game. And its public beta is out now.
How to get it?
Xbox One: Here
I’m currently downloading it myself, so expect some questionable videos soon. Hey, at least it will give you a rest from my Overwatch videos. Oh and for those who don’t know, I do actually have a YouTube channel.
The internet, or at least Star Wars gamers, lost its collective mind yesterday with the release of the Star Wars Battlefront II trailer.
It would appear we’ve got a campaign mode and we’re playing as bad guy! Sweet. Now, I wonder how much of the game EA Dice are going to hide behind premium DLC? Dice have claimed they’d be no season pass, but you know EA…they can’t help themselves – they’ll probably be micro transactions, they must recuperate all that licence money they paid Disney for the Star Wars gaming rights.
By the way, nice to see Janina Gavankar as the lead, Iden Versio, I know her face & voice anywhere. Multiplayer is going to be killer with all the players from all eras. I might actually get this as a birthday present for myself, if they don’t mess up.

Also affectionately known as, the day that Sony & Amazon almost convinced me to spend rent money on a PS4 1TB bundle. To those who are unaware, the PS4 Ultimate Player Edition was released today. It was supposed to retail at £349, buta few retailers have been offering bundle deals left right and centre. Amazon kicked it off with their Prime Day deal – PS4 1TB with Destiny, PS TV, 3 months PS+ and a digital copy of Ultra Street Fighter. Now, I was not ready for this crazy when I picked up my Metro at the train station at 6am. I almost tried Amazon’s free Prime trial on the spot, but I am [barely] made of stronger stuff. This deal is still available until 23:59 tonight. You must be an Amazon Prime member.
GAME came out to play with their bundles:
PS4 1TB with PS TV & Destiny; PS4 1TB with PS TV & Watch Dogs; PS4 1TB & PS TV. Each were £329.99. Oddly enough, they’re selling the PS4 1TB for £339.99.
Oddly enough, Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s & Morrisons aren’t running any deals, so I expect some sort of heart attack style deals as we head closer to the Christmas period.
Of course, if you’re a real penny saver, you’ll have discovered at least two PS4 1TB deals under £300 thanks to a good exchange rate and free UK delivery from other European retailers. **coughs** hotukdeals.com **coughs**
Confession: If the Amazon deal was bundled with The Witcher 3 instead of Destiny, my fingers would have run amok, I would have woken up on my own private island and everything…then I would have found some garri & groundnut…
